Voter registration events planned in Henderson Co.

From staff reports

The League of Women Voters Henderson County has begun its 2020 voter registration campaign to assist all eligible voters in Henderson County.

The League provides voter registration forms and helpful information on voter eligibility, changing one’s voter registration, and absentee ballot applications.

The Voter Services team will be available at numerous outdoor events and locations this summer, including the King Street Farmers Market, Patton Park, Main Street Hendersonville, Rhododendron Park, the Seventh Avenue Train Depot Farmers Market and Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher.

Along with informing eligible voters about the voting process, the League will host candidate forums and meet and greets, either in person or virtually depending upon COVID-19 regulations.
